Donations

  • Aid in Milan - We can use new or gently used winter coats for children and adults, as well as winter hats, gloves, and scarves for all ages. They also accept food and non-food pantry donations. 

  • Donationtown.org - Schedule a donation with a charity in your area for free.

  • Donatestuff.org - Schedule a donation with a charity in your area for free. 

  • Goodwill - Goodwill of Southeastern Michigan serves Lenawee County, Monroe County and portions of Washtenaw County and Hillsdale County. Gently used clothing and household items. 

  • Pickupplease.org - Donations and other household goods make a big difference in the lives of America’s Veterans and their families. 

  • Purple HeartDonate gently used clothing and household goods to assist charitable programs for American Veterans. 

  • Salvation Army - Donate gently used clothing, furniture, automobiles, household goods, and appliances.  

  • Habitat for Humanity ReStore - new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances and all the products needed to update, maintain, and furnish their space. 

  • Friends In Deed - They pick up good condition furniture anywhere in Washtenaw County. Beds, couches, tables, TVs. They take most everything and pass it on to families in need. They also accept car and van donations.

  • Ann Arbor District Library - Books published in the last five years, children’s books, cookbooks, CDs, Books on CD, DVDs, text books less than 5 years old, sheet music and jigsaw puzzles. 

  • Saline District Library - Bring your books, DVDs, audio books on CD, music CDs, games, and puzzles.

  • Ann Arbor Thrift Shop - Household goods and decor, linens, jewelry, antiques and collectables, clothing, small appliances, DVDs, CDs, VCR tapes, and books. 

  • Dress for Success, Michigan - High quality interview appropriate clothing, shoes and accessories. 

  • Jackets for Jobs - Men and women suits, jackets, shirts, and dresses in current style and suitable for the workplace as well as shoes, belts, jewelry, handbags, and unopened cosmetics. We have a special need for coats, umbrellas and plus-sized suits for women and big and tall suits for men.

  • Food Gatherers - Donate non-perishable canned and dry goods, fresh produce (fresh or from your own garden), dairy and meat products. 

  • Freecycle -Those with still good used items happily share; those who need gracefully receive, all without judgment - or any funds - passed. 

  • House by the Side of the Road - donations of clothing and small household items. We especially need diapers, pots and pans, dishes, utensils and bedding.

  • Recycle Ann Arbor - ReUse Center- All types of building materials, new or in good, reusable condition. household items, tools, furniture, antiques and collectables, small kitchen appliances, some electronics, exercise or sport equipment, cds, records, office supplies, healthcare equipment, pet supplies.
